Time Moves Faster on Moon Than on Earth, New Study Reveals

In the last few years, some new facts about the moon have been revealed. A new study has shown that the time on the moon runs faster than the earth. The reason for this is the power of gravity on the moon is weakening from the earth. The clock move on the Moon is intensified by about 56 microcecandes per meaning day or 0.00056 seconds compared to the earth. Published in Astronomical Journal Study Albert is based on Einstein’s General Relativity Theory. Bijunath Patla, the theater physicist of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) associated with this study, said, “If we are on the moon, the clock runs in a different way compared to the earth.” In this study, Patla and her colleague NEIL Ashby have improved previous analysis to calculate the number using the function of Einstein. The theory of General Relativity states that at the rate of a normal clock, its location and the speed of it are affected by the ability to gravity.

According to this study, “Watches away from the earth move fast and uniform speed clocks are slower than stable watches.” Recently the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) was approved by the Central Government for Chandrayaan-4. The Union Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has cleared the new moon mission. This mission will assess the technical capabilities required for the landing of an Indian on the moon and a safe return to the earth. Last year, ISRO completed the Chandrayaan-3 mission successfully. Prime Minister Modi had said that Chandrayaan-4 mission will increase India’s self-sufficiency in space technology and will promote innovation. In this mission, samples from the moon will be collected and analyzed.

Chandrayaan-4’s weight capacity may be greater than the most powerful rockets near ISRO. Because of this, there is a preparation to launch the mission in two parts. This will be the world’s first such space mission to be launched in two parts and the spacecraft will be added to the space. The success of this mission will be a major success for ISRO. The aim of the Chandrayaan-4 mission is to come back with a sample from the moon. Three countries of the world- America, Russia and China have been able to bring samples from the moon. The US and India also plan to send an Indian astronaut to the International Space Station by the end of the next year.
